DIEMEN – The Independent Party Diemen has announced the final list of candidates for the municipal elections of March 16, 2022.
Jan Sikking has been elected leader of the Independent Party Diemen. Sikking is currently a councilor for the Independent Party Diemen. The Independent Party Diemen currently has two seats in the city council. The councilors are Jan Sikking and Leo Smits.
Party leader Jan Sikking: “As a local party, we have succeeded in compiling an inclusive, diverse and Diemens list of candidates. Each and every one of them comes from different backgrounds who all want to make Diemen more liveable. And would like to have a place in the new coalition to make a strong local sound heard.”
“After all, the current coalition only consists of national parties. As a local party, we are not bound by national party programs and positions. And we are not guided by any belief, ideology, dogma, fanaticism or self-interest. We stand for what is best for our residents and village.”
Diemenees Jan Sikking (Lecturer Media Management) is the number one leader in the list. Leo Smits (Copywriter) is in second place. He is very interested in the energy transition and the environment. Places three, four and five are newcomers who have been chosen because of their managerial experience.
Angelique van Marion is in third place, Mischa Grishaver is in fourth place and Patricia Weijers is in fifth place.
Max Sannes (Facilities Coordinator) is in sixth place, who is now the successor to the group of the Independent Party Diemen. In places seven to eleven are newcomers: Wolter Kramer (Pantar Visual Handicaps Information Officer), Zuleika Coffie (Dental Assistant and actress), ICT entrepreneur Tem Pauw (Software Asset Management Expert) and independent entrepreneur Feza van der Weele-Önal (Interior Architect ) and the well-known Rob van Zuijlen (Founder of shoe repair shops Dr. Shoe).
